Joy is a Gallant, Galloping Giraffe!
God spoke to my heart quite a bit over this wonderful spring break in New York City. My family had the pleasure of visiting some truly magnificent giraffes, as they joyously galloped about on a gorgeous, sunny day at the Bronx Zoo. I have more blog posts coming for you from the exciting city of … Continue reading Joy is a Gallant, Galloping Giraffe!
Fake Fruit, Fake Christians… 12 Thoughts on God’s Truth
As a child, I was told not to play with the fake fruit on the bottom bookshelf, but I couldn't resist. I was fascinated by the soft, squishy green and purple grapes that popped easily on and off of their fake plastic stems. They looked so real! The colors, the shine, and the softness of … Continue reading Fake Fruit, Fake Christians… 12 Thoughts on God’s Truth
Dyed Easter Eggs for Jesus
Dying Easter eggs is a family tradition I love. It is meaningful because it reminds me of new life, new beginnings, family togetherness, and a more beautiful, colorful world with Jesus Christ! My family shared God's love today at a community event put on by our little church. We have participated every year for the … Continue reading Dyed Easter Eggs for Jesus
He was Pierced for YOU.
On Palm Sunday, we rejoice with those who laid down cut branches before Jesus as he approached the town of Jerusalem mounted on a donkey: "The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, 'Hosanna to the Son of David!' 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!' 'Hosanna … Continue reading He was Pierced for YOU.

I took a meal out to the home of our dear friends, my pastor and his wife. After three weeks, he is finally back home, transitioning to his new way of life, after undergoing a … Continue reading Spiritual Growth from Suffering Adversity

What the Sky Did When Billy Graham Went to Heaven Today
I knew Jesus when I was very young, just five years old. I said, "Yes!" when he knocked at the door of my heart; and I invited him in. I began to write poems and songs about Jesus when I was only seven. I remember writing one of them on a brown paper towel, borrowed … Continue reading What the Sky Did When Billy Graham Went to Heaven Today
The Love of Jesus is Sweeter than Chocolate
The first blog I ever wrote was for Valentine’s Day. Since then, my son has been miraculously healed by The One Who truly is sweeter than chocolate! Remember that you’re loved by Jesus every day!❤️️✝️💙
Jesus says, “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him” (Luke 11:11-13 NIV)! God WANTS good things for us. He wants to bless us abundantly. He wants us to have good things to eat and drink, but more importantly, He wants us to feed on his word and be nourished by it.
Today I had a day where good things happened. Not every day goes like this, but when good things happen, I know that they are gifts from God. I thank him for the gifts. These little things that happen during our better days, are…
