Joy is a Gallant, Galloping Giraffe!

God spoke to my heart quite a bit over this wonderful spring break in New York City. My family had the pleasure of visiting some truly magnificent giraffes, as they joyously galloped about on a gorgeous, sunny day at the Bronx Zoo. I have more blog posts coming for you from the exciting city of New York; including photos of the beautiful animals that made us smile and laugh with delight. For now, I want to show you this 30-second clip of the beautiful giraffes enjoying their sunny, spring day outside; just as we all love to do after a long, cold winter!

Imagine! God created each unique animal with His very own hands! God placed animals here on the earth for us to care for, love, and enjoy! Adam even had the task of naming them, one by one. May these giraffes be the silver lining to your day if it’s a tough one. If you’re having a good day, I pray this makes it even better. It’s a scene too sweet to miss. Thank you, God, for the gift of giraffes showing off and having a joyfully good time!

“God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.”

(Gen. 1:25 NIV)

I am from Queens, and the Bronx zoo is my favorite zoo.
In a class recently my instructor asked each of us what animal we would like to be and why.
My reply was giraffe….my why was…having such a long neck would make it easier for my eyes to behold heaven.
Tears was the response in my class.😊

Oh my goodness, Hope; that is beautiful! It would make a lovely poem! I would definitely have had tears of joy in my eyes too! I love hearing that you are from the Bronx and that it’s your favorite zoo. I felt we were given a day there as a special gift, and I mentioned that I could understand why it’s so famous. It’s such a glorious, serene spot in such a busy, fast paced city. I can’t wait to go back to New York! That was my third time visiting, and I fall in love a little more with its people, scenery, food, activities, and surprises every time I go! Thank you for sharing! God bless you, in Jesus’ name! 💙
