The Love of Jesus is Sweeter than Chocolate

The first blog I ever wrote was for Valentine’s Day. Since then, my son has been miraculously healed by The One Who truly is sweeter than chocolate! Remember that you’re loved by Jesus every day!❤️️✝️💙

The Silver Lining

Jesus says, “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him”  (Luke 11:11-13 NIV)!  God WANTS good things for us.  He wants to bless us abundantly.  He wants us to have good things to eat and drink, but more importantly, He wants us to feed on his word and be nourished by it.

Today I had a day where good things happened.  Not every day goes like this, but when good things happen, I know that they are gifts from God.  I thank him for the gifts.  These little things that happen during our better days, are…

Since so many of you enjoyed the New Year’s Eve post, I thought you might like to read a bit more about the good things God has promised to do for you this coming year! No matter our current situation, if we lean on God, 2018 is sure to be a success! Happy New Year, and may God bless you abundantly, in Jesus’ name!

The Silver Lining

I’m not one for making New Year’s resolutions which are soon forgotten. The feelings seep in almost immediately: guilt, disappointment, discouragement, and regret. The year has barely begun, and we’re already unable to even start the resolutions meant to bring us a brand new year full of amazing accomplishments.I’m tired just thinking about it! How about beginning our new year by simply praying, and asking God to bless and guide us in all we do? We can thank God for the good gifts He’s given to us over this past year, and commit to putting Him first. We can pray for wisdom and discernment, asking God to help us become more like Jesus. Instead of resolutions, let’s ask God to help us stay on the path He has provided for each one of us. Or, ask Him to help us find our way back to the path if we’ve…
