The Silver Lining Wonderful Winter Giveaway… Celebrating Christ Conquering Cancer!

It’s celebration time! The Silver Lining is having a wonderful winter giveaway to thank you for all of your love, prayers, support, and encouragement this year while my husband has battled cancer. Simple directions for entering the giveaway are at the end of this short, joyful post!

God has heard our prayers! He has sent Jesus, The Great Physician, to touch Dave; and begin shrinking and dissolving the cancerous tumors! Lately we’ve experienced even more visions from brothers and sisters in Christ, along with positive evidence from oncology. This new update will be out by Christmas Day. Praise God! Thank you for reading Dave’s Testimony and sharing it with others who need encouragement; especially those battling cancer. Thank you for praying for Dave, and for believing in a miracle with us!

It’s been a rough year; filled with trauma, tragedy, and… cancer. Every. Single. Day. The trips to the ER started in January. Though he’d been diagnosed with rare, aggresssive, fast-moving, deadly, stage four colon cancer; we began to write Dave’s Testimony. Our hope, from the very beginning, was to comfort others with cancer by wholly leaning on strength through Jesus. Our deepest desire? To lead as many people to Jesus Christ as possible; so that all of us can be forgiven and have eternal life!

It’s now the end of the year, and we’ve experienced many miracles from God, just as Dave said there would be, when both of us made the decision to write about his cancer… all of it; the good, the bad, and the ugly!

We’ve chosen to move forward in faith: trusting God, living on strength through Jesus; and asking for God’s will to be done. It’s been the most stressful, difficult, and painful journey we’ve ever traveled; especially for Dave.

We’ve put ourselves completely into the hands of God. And now, we are experiencing the greatest miracle of all… Dave’s body is slowly being healed; when just a few months ago, we had to come to grips with terminal cancer.

We’ve had a beautiful Thanksgiving with family, and now we are blessed with the coming of Christmas, soon to be followed by a new year with Jesus at the center. We’re celebrating… so I’d like to invite you to participate in The Silver Lining Wonderful Winter Giveaway!

Documenting your journey through this valley is an inspiration to more people than you can ever imagine. Sometimes our suffering is more about those we touch along the way. Consider the woman with the issue of blood. Over 2,000 years later, her story still inspires us to reach for the hem of His garment. May the Lord continue to touch Dave’s body with healing and bring restoration and strength. May your whole family be blessed in this most joyous Christmas season! 🙏❤️

Dave and Angela — Such good news on Christmas Eve! You both have been in our thoughts and prayers from the beginning of this trial. This is why our Lord Jesus Christ came to the Earth, for such a time as this, to bring you hope and comfort. To gather God’s children unto Himself and give them peace. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27) “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of Heavenly Hosts praising God, and saying, ‘GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE, GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN'” (Luke 2:13-14). A promise from God Himself through His glorious angels … a promise for us, His Children, Peace and Good Will from our Heavenly Father. We can do more than praise and glorify Him, He loves us so much! MERRY CHRISTMAS PELLEMAN FAMILY 🙂

I am so encouraged by your family’s testimony…I first found you on the stoma support group. My husband had an ileostomy and then a reversal. All while my son was diagnosed with cancer. I was in another hospital with my son while he underwent chemo while my husband was hours away having 2 different surgeries and recovery…The reversal for my husband was a success and my son just has his tumor removed as well as 4 ribs on the 8th of December. He is doing really good. Walking and moving around. We are still looking at 2 surgeries to remove the other cancer located in 2 other parts of his body. We have been able to witness to so many people..to share the plan of salvation to nurses,dr.s, housekeeping, cafeteria workers, other patients etc… clinging to Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose… Trying our best to bring people to heaven and bring glory to God💓

Dearest Sarah, I prayed with my family tonight for God to pick the winner of the giveaway. I prayed it would be someone in great need of encouragement, who could use some joy to keep her going. Sarah, you won the giveaway! I’m so thrilled to be able to mail this gift to you. In my heart, I felt it was you who needed it most! But I folded every paper and shook the silver stocking twice after mixing up all the names three times before putting them in the stocking. May this small win show you that God is watching down on you, and holding you in His large, loving palms! He is in the tiniest details! May you find strength through Jesus on your journey; and just know that you have a friend in me, and a sister in Christ!
        Much love,
