A non-Christian boy found a bible. A man told him to put it down. He said, “Yes, sir.”
A learning boy found a bible. A man told him to put it down. He said, “I will give it to someone else, sir.”
A Christian boy found a bible. A man told him to put it down. He said, “No, sir.”
The Christian boy looked up at the man. He said, “It is a bible.”
The man replied, “What is a bible?”
The boy felt a little shy, but then he remembered that Jesus was watching over him.
The boy said to the man, “A bible is a way to help you learn about God.”
Then the boy added, “I really wanted to keep and read this, but I want you to have it.”
The 23rd Psalm
A psalm of David
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Respectfully standing up for our faith, following Jesus Christ, and sharing God’s Good News with others; are ways we can show the world we are true Christians! Children need God’s love, and they are never too young to impact the world for Jesus Christ! Start by praying with your child, reading bible stories together, and answering their questions about God. For more bits of big child wisdom by my daughter, Abby Pelleman; we invite you to read Forgiveness is a Chewed Shoe. Stay tuned for more Christian stories from this young child whom God has blessed with wisdom, discernment, and a desire to apply God’s Word to her own life. The honor and glory all goes to God; it is His only!
That was simply beautiful Abby! May God continue to bless you, fill you with His Spirit, and use you to share the riches of His word. You are going to be an amazing writer! 🙂

Joe, thank you so much for writing a special message to Abby! She says “thank you” to you! She had a huge smile on her face while we read your message. I told her you are one of my favorite amazing writers, and that you write about lighthouses and are very wise! God bless you, Joe, in Jesus’ name! You made our day! ✝️😊

I meant every word. As children’s Pastors for over 20 years, my wife and I have witnessed how God has raised many of them to become mighty men and women of God. I believe that Abby will become a literary artisan and reach many with the gift of writing. She is blessed to have a mother who is a gifted writer and who is coaching her with encouragement and praise. I look forward to reading more of her works.

Thank you, Joe! These words mean so much to me, especially as we have been in spiritual warfare over the last month, which makes it really hard to accomplish anything and especially hard to stay encouraged! I’m so thankful for genuine brothers and sisters in Christ, who take a moment to stop and lift our hearts! These godly, loving, compassionate words have truly touched my heart; I can’t wait to share them with my family! God bless you, in Jesus’ name, my friend! ✝️😊🙏🏼
