It’s wonderful that we can call on our friends to pray with us, and for us, when we are struggling during hard times. We should never be too proud to ask for prayer. Knowing you’ve been lifted up in prayer is so encouraging. When I know friends are praying for me, it helps me to remember that God has my back. God never leaves us. When we are reminded of God’s love for us, we are encouraged. Prayerful encouragement from friends goes a long way! “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing” (1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV).
