Blood Moon Sunrise

Sometimes you get up early in the morning, because your little girl is beside herself to see the Blood Moon, but the sky is full of thick dark clouds.

The two of you jump into the car in your pajamas, determined to see what you can see. After driving down the road, you don’t find the moon hiding behind the trees either. Your daughter asks you to drive down the other way, and the clouds are moving in the sky, but they are playing hide-and-seek with the moon. So instead, shivering in the cold, you pull over to enjoy the silver lining…a beautiful sunrise!

She’s thrilled, and so are you. Then, to top it off, you get to come home and cuddle together to get warm, and enjoy falling asleep with your little girl in your arms. Thank you, God, for Easter joy!

“Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders.  From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.”  Psalm 65:8 NLT
